Forget Domani   Julius LaRosa (#13 in 1955)), Perry Como, Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin
Let's forget about domani,
Let's forget about domani,
Let's forget about domani,
For domani never comes!
   (2x)

Tomorrow,
Forget tomorrow,
Let's live for now, and anyhow,
Who needs tomorrow?

The moonlight,
Let's share the moonlight,
Perhaps together,
We will never be again!

Oh what a moon, ( che luna )
Oh what a sea, ( che mare )
With such a moon and such a sea
And you with me . . .

I get so dizzy when you're standing near,
It's not the music that you hear,
My heart keeps beating like a jungle drum . . .

Let's take the minutes as they speed away,
And hope it's true what people say,
When you're in love, tomorrow never comes!

( Sú, dimentichiamo domani,
Sú, dimentichiamo domani,
Sú, dimentichiamo domani
perché forse non verrá )

Sú, dimentichiamo domani,
Sú, dimentichiamo domani,
Sú, dimentichiamo domani
perché forse non verrá

( Domani, forget domani
con questa luna e questo mare
e tu con me )

Let's take the minutes as they speed away,
And hope it's true what people say,
When you're in love, tomorrow never comes!

Let's forget about domani,
Let's forget about domani,
Let's forget about domani,
For domani never comes!

Sú, dimentichiamo domani,
Sú, dimentichiamo domani,
Sú, dimentichiamo domani
perché forse non verrá

Domani never comes . . .
Tomorrow never comes!

~ from the MGM Motion Picture "The Yellow Rolls Royce"
Words and Music by Riziero Ortolani and Norman Newell

Notes: ~ "One of the best things about the 1965 film 'The Yellow Rolls-Royce' was its music, written by Riz Ortolani, who also composed the song 'More' for the soundtrack 'Mondo Cane.' Perry sings this perky melody from the film, assisted by the Italian chorus, who lend a delightful international flavour to the few lines they sing in English. Like the happy-go-lucky Italians one meets in some films, the song tells us to take each day as it comes and to be in love, because when you're in love, tomorrow never comes."
