Up from your drowings, you shepherds arise.
Where the Child Saviour is signed from the skies.
For unto us this day comes a Saviour, Come unto us from heav'n,
God's Appointed, Come, shepherds rise.

Tidings from Bethlehem's plains, men have brought,
News of great joy which for aye men have sought.
God's Son Annointed to us is given,
Bron in Bethl'hem in mercy given,
Our sins to forgive.

Let us make haste, unto Bethlehem go,
Worship this Child, His redemption to know.
There shall we sing our loud Alleluas,
Our voices raise in loud acclamation,
Glory on high.
